Lamu Dhow and Islands
Six days on the water, with nowhere in particular to be.

Sail the Lamu archipelago on a traditional dhow, sleeping ashore in Shela and Manda, with a day in Lamu Town's alleyways and a night on a sandbank.
There are no cars on Lamu. There are donkeys, boats and your own feet, and after a day you stop reaching for a phone to summon anything. The schedule bends to the wind and the tide, which is the honest reason this tour is sold as flexible rather than fixed.
Day by day
Boat from Manda to Shela, then nothing at all. Swim, eat, sleep.

Slower than we planned, in the right way
The wind moved a day around and they simply told us, which I appreciated more than a schedule pretending to be certain. The sandbank night is worth the whole booking on its own.
